A Quiet Shift
For a long time, 22 Tango Music Group has been many things at once.
We began in 2010 as a record label.
Over the years, we grew into events, artist development, and talent management.
Eventually, we built Room Eleven Studios. First to support our own work, and later to support the work of others.
As more artists passed through the studio, Room Eleven became more than a place to record.
It became a place to pause.
To listen.
To figure things out.
It grew into a core part of our ecosystem.
For a while, events became our loudest chapter.
They were visible. They were busy. They were successful.
And then the pandemic happened.
Forcing us to sit with an uncomfortable truth: the loudest parts of what we were doing weren’t always the most sustainable, or the most aligned.
Everything stopped.
And then we went inward.
We returned to the quieter work: making music, recording sound, developing ideas, and sitting with the creative process.
In sitting with the creative process, somewhere in that stillness, something became very clear.
The studio was never the end goal.
It was a tool.
Room Eleven was never the destination.
What truly stayed with us were the conversations, the workshops, the moments where people came not just to record, but to learn; to understand their voice, their sound, their instincts.
Education wasn’t a side project anymore.
It was the point.
Starting in 2026, we’re giving that clarity a structure.
Room Eleven Studios will focus exclusively on audio work and studio services.
22 Tango Music Group will become the home for all creative initiatives: housing our quick courses, and learning programs under one banner.
This isn’t a separation born from distance.
It’s one born from intention.
