Why Education, Why Now
Over time, we noticed a pattern in the local creative landscape. Many programs focus on performance—on polishing, projecting, presenting. There’s value in that, but often the deeper work is skipped.
At 22 Tango, we’ve always been more interested in process than polish.
Before someone learns how to sing, we want them to learn how to listen to their own voice.
Before someone learns how to produce music, we want them to understand how sound behaves in a room.
Skill matters, but understanding lasts.
Our programs are designed to slow things down. To create space for curiosity, for asking why something works, not just how. We’re less concerned with quick results and more invested in meaningful creative growth.
We work with a wide range of learners: children as young as eight, adults well into their professional lives, and everyone in between. Some come to start fresh. Some come to shift directions. Others come because they’ve lost touch with a part of themselves and want to find it again.
All of them are welcome.
Programs Beginning 2026
Under 22 Tango Music Group, our 2026 creative programs include:
- Song Studio – a 4-day songwriting and production experience
- Studio Work – a 4-day, craft-focused music production program
- Mixroom – an introduction to DJing
- Voice Lab – a voice-over and voice acting quick course
- U-HOST – an event hosting quick course
- Personalized Music Learning – tailored lessons for instruments and voice
All sessions will be held in person at Room Eleven Studios in Cebu City, Philippines. Online formats are something we’re slowly exploring, with care and intention.
Looking Ahead
With over 15 years under 22 Tango Music Group and 8 years of running Room Eleven Studios, this shift feels less like a reinvention and more like a return to what we’ve always been building toward.
We’re not stepping away from music.
We’re choosing to sit with it more deeply.
Our hope is to continue building a creative ecosystem where learning, making, and storytelling live side by side, quietly, honestly, and for the long term.
